A2 Photonic Sensors at MPF2026 in Dresden

A2 Photonic Sensors to exhibit at MPF2026, the 22nd Multiphase Flow Workshop in Dresden

From 2 to 6 November 2026, A2 Photonic Sensors will be in Dresden for MPF2026, the 22nd Multiphase Flow Workshop hosted by the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). We are proud to be a first-time sponsor and exhibitor at the workshop, where we will present our optical measurement solutions for gas-liquid flows, including bubble size, velocity and gas fraction measurement.

Experiments and Simulation in the Same Room

MPF brings together researchers working on experimental measurements and numerical simulations of multiphase flows. These measurements are essential for understanding complex flow behaviour and validating computational models across applications in the chemical, energy, nuclear, food and automotive industries.

That mix is what makes the workshop interesting for us. It puts those who produce measurements and those who use them to build and test models in the same place, which is where the most useful discussions about data tend to happen.

What We Bring to MPF2026

We will present the M2 Bubble Analyzer, an optical fiber probe for bubble measurement in gas-liquid flows. Based on Optical-Fiber Doppler Probe (OFDP) technology, the M2 measures bubble size and velocity, as well as local gas fraction, directly within the flow. It is designed for applications where conventional optical access is difficult or unavailable, including dense bubbly flows and opaque liquids. If you work on multiphase flow experiments or CFD model validation, we would be glad to discuss your measurement challenges and the data you need.
